Public LinkedIn Profiles May Not Display Correctly!
LinkedIn.com has had an unintended code regression today (a ticket is now open): it can cause a public profile URL to look dead – e.g.,”Page not found.” This bug is inconsistent but may affect all browsers, with FireFox users suffering the most (both mobile and desktop). There is no code override for this bug, but there is a quick fix:
- Step 1 (any browser)… Try this public profile link: http://LinkedIn.com/in/SanderNizni
- Step 2 (desktops)… repeat Step 1 with another browser, or log into your LinkedIn account
- Step 3 (mobile devices)… set your browser to force the desktop version of the site and repeat Step 1, or use LinkedIn Mobile App.
